Regional Men’s Health Initiative partnership extended

by admin on August 7, 2023

Bowls WA (BWA) is pleased to announce a two-year extension of the partnership with The Regional Men’s Health Initiative (RMHI).

Through the Talk to a Mate® program over thirty (30) country bowling clubs have already benefitted from RMHI staff attending and delivering educational sessions to improve the health and well-being knowledge of country bowlers and their families.

The events have been a great success and have often been tied into country club carnivals and other social occasions, which will continue for the next two-year period.

The extended partnership will also now see support provided for the live streaming of the Men’s and Women’s Inter-Zone Round Robins as well as finals day for both Country Week’s.

BWA CEO Ken Pride noted the “great importance of the message that is provided by the Talk to a Mate® and Working with Warriors® programs” in our regional areas, which had received great reviews over the past two years. The extension into the live streaming of the country’s major events will further extend the important message throughout regional WA.
