AFGRI Men’s Countryweek Finals Day Information
The AFGRI Men’s Countryweek has reached finals day at the Sorrento Bowling Club.
It is going to be a great day on Friday, 7th March, with three finals back to back to back, all live-streamed on the Bowls WA YouTube channel.
Starting at approx. 9.30 am will be the Blue Ribbon Singles Final with 2-time winner and last year’s champion Matthew Mitchell (Emu Point) up against another 2-time winner Matthew France (Merredin). It promises to be a great final between two former champions who were on fire at Sorrento all day on Thursday.
While the singles final is being played, the last fours semi-final will be played between Justin Smith, Evan Rous, Mark Palumbo, Gary Lawrance (York) and William Hyatt, Gary Caffell, Robbie Tiller, Mark Simpson (Mandurah).
After the Singles Final, we will live-stream the Pairs Final with 2023 winners Brad Ball, Dominic Milbourne (Pinjarra) versus William Hyatt, Robbie Tiller (Mandurah). Robbie Tiller is a past winner from 2021.
Finally, we will live-stream the fours final with the winner of the morning’s semi-final versus the composite team of Mark Schinzig (Moodiarrup), Robert Marinoni (Moodiarrup), Robert Leusciatti (Kojonup), Syd Loveland (Pinjarra).
