2025 Women’s Metro Inter Region Round Robin (IRRR) Wrap Article
This weekend was our yearly Inter Region Round Robin (IRRR) hosted by Southern Region and held at the Leeming Bowling Club. The weather wasn’t the best, a bit chilly with a few light showers but not enough to hinder the games! Many thanks to the Leeming Bowling Club who looked after us extremely well and kept the hot coffee coming…
What a fabulous weekend it was, seeing a lot of familiar faces, meeting a lot of new ladies and going by the banter, on and off the greens, it seems as though everyone enjoyed themselves (it’s what keeps a lot of us coming back year after year).
The overall winners of the weekend were Northern Region again who came through with a hattrick (3 years in a row), equal second was Eastern & Southern, and South Coastal coming in third. Once again Northern won the All Stars competition so congratulations to Northern Region, well played.
Roma Dunn, Bowls WA Vice Patron, came to present the medals and lanyards to all the winners and we thank her for her attendance.
