2025 Bowling Arm Singles WRAP
The 2025 Bowling Arm Singles held at Warnbro Bowling Club over the past weekend was a fantastic event with all Final winners new to the winning circle!
This event has run at Warnbro since 2019 with Warnbro the perpetual trophy sponsor.
Congratulations to Wayne “Roundy” Jones from Albany as the newly crowned first place winner of the event taking out first place.
Heavily contested runner up is Gary Giblet from Bunbury who in the past was often at the pointy end of this event being in the Quarter Finals for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Equal Thirds Steve Srhoy from Cockburn and Nicholas Hosking from Moodiarrup fought hard to overcome their opponents with extremely close scores.

Congratulations to all competitors – every year this event grows and show cases our home-grown talents that have taken the leap to stay in the sport we all love by using a bowling arm. Without the bowling arm most of these players would not still be competitive in Bowls.
And a huge THANK YOU to Warnbro Bowling Club, the hosts of this event and home to the State Sandgroper’s Bowling Arm players. Warnbro provided lunches, markers, measurers, and umpires – without these volunteer’s events like this could not be run and won!
