2025 Sandgroper State Team Announcement
The WA Sandgroper Armed Bowlers Association (WASABA) selectors recently convened to select the 2025 WA State Bowling Arm side – otherwise known as The Sandgropers.
The 11th National Bowling Arm Sides Championships will be held at Warrnambool, Victoria, from the 1st to 5th of September 2025. This event is a 5-A-Side event where each state plays Fours and Singles against each other in one round, and then Triples and Pairs against each other in another round. All six states participate in this event with each state having a minimum side of 15 players.
WASABA Chair, Bill Taylor, said he believes this side is one of the strongest seen to-date, thanks to the addition of several new members who have made the cut at the expense of previous State representatives.
