2026 Women’s Over 60’s State Team Announcement
The Women’s State Selection Team has selected the WA Women’s Over-60s Team to represent Western Australia at Osborne Park from October 10-13, 2026 (Practice day – October 9)
Karyn Mears will make her Over-60s State debut as a lead for Linda Warburton. Karyn earned her position through the trials and as runner-up in the 2025-2026 Over-60’s State Singles.
Denise Kelly makes the transition from the WA Open Team straight into the WA Over-60s team. Denise will play third to Helen Stevens and brings plenty of experience and leadership at State level.
Jenny Parker also moves from the WA Open Team into the Over-60s Team and will add plenty of quality bowls to the team as lead to Helen Stevens. Jenny has previously played in the Over-60’s team but has been a mainstay of the Open Team since 2019.
