Dye Sublimation Printing is a process of applying a heat sensitive ink to fabric which permanently dyes the fabric. This involves printing the inks onto a specialised paper which is then laid onto the fabric and run through a heat press at a high temperature and pressure. The ink is then transferred permanently into the weave of the fabric.
The Managing Director, Chris Smith, was a former Test Cricketer for England & then Chief Executive of the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) for 7 years. In 2000, he purchased Embroidery WA, and at the time the company had 2 staff members. Embroidery WA now employs 40 staff and embroiders over 20,000 garments every week…and has done so for many years.
Having experienced their own difficulties with Dye Sublimated sports clothing, Chris embarked on a new venture with the intention of simplifying & perfecting the process.
They opened our doors in 2013 & now employ 22 full time staff. They are extremely proud of their growing reputation for quality, consistency & quick turnaround times. Their customers tell them that they are the most reliable manufacturer of this type of sports clothing in Australia. Their staff turnover is almost zero and has been for many years…as a consequence of this you are assured of dealing with the same staff year after year.
