A “Club Group” is the organising body — an association, district or region (e.g. Bowls WA) — rather than a single club, since a club group’s own competitions (like a state Test Series) can field more than one team at once. Search by name and its ID and Name below fill in automatically, or enter the ID manually if you already have it.
Club Group Name
Club Group Logo
—
Shown to the left of the club group name in the header. JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, or SVG — it’s resized automatically, so any size works. “Import from BowlsLink” pulls the logo BowlsLink already has on file for this club group, once one is selected above. Each team’s own logo (when BowlsLink has one on file) still appears on its own live match card regardless of this setting.
Show Completed Matches
Off (default): a competition only appears on the board while it actually has a match in progress. On: pick a round below for each pinned competition — leave it blank to always show the most recently completed round.
Show Next Match
On (default): before a match goes live — or between matches — the board shows who’s playing next and when, even though there’s no score yet. Only used when a competition has nothing live and (if Show Completed Matches is also on) no completed match has already filled that spot.
Pinned Competitions
Any of this club group’s teams currently playing in one of these competitions appears on the board automatically — no round number needed for that. A competition with more than one section (e.g. Men and Women) shows every section side by side, together, on the one screen.
Refresh Interval
seconds
How often the board re-checks BowlsLink for live score updates.
Ends Per Match
ends
Used only as the “of __” total on the ends-played progress bar when BowlsLink reports how many ends have been bowled but not the match length itself.
Rink Detail
Off shows just the skip for each side per rink — enough to read from across the room. On shows all four positions, which needs more space per card.
Player Names
Off shows each player’s full name as BowlsLink has it. On shows just the surname (e.g. “Nairn” instead of “Blake Nairn”) — reads bigger and clearer per rink card.
Team Name Overrides
Show any team under a different name on the board — e.g. “Western Australia Men” as just “WA Men”. Start typing in the “BowlsLink’s name” box for suggestions drawn from teams actually seen on the board; picking one guarantees an exact match. It applies wherever that team appears, for either side of the match.
Scroll
Only takes effect once there’s more on the board than fits on screen — with just one match card there’s nothing to scroll to, so the board stays still and shows it as-is.
Dark Mode
All text, scores, and card colours automatically switch to high-contrast versions so everything stays clearly readable against black.
Card Outline
The border colour around every card and box on the board.
Colour Theme

Text Colour

Header Accent Colour

Colours “Test Series Scoreboard” and “Updated …” in the header, and the accent line under the header and under each section bar (e.g. Men/Women). Independent of Colour Theme above, so it won’t shift every time that changes.
Export Display
Saves this exact display as one self-contained .html file — with this browser’s current settings already built in — ready to upload to a website or open on another TV/browser without setting it up again there. It’s still fully live: opening it keeps fetching real-time scores from BowlsLink on the usual refresh schedule, nothing on the board itself is frozen. Built for a normal web page rather than a fixed TV screen: instead of cycling through an internal auto-scroll, all the content simply lays out top to bottom and the page grows as tall as it needs to, scrolling normally in the browser. Uses whatever was last saved with “Apply & Refresh” below.
