National Integrity Framework Policies

BOWLS WA’s COMMITMENT STATEMENT

Bowls WA is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all members involved in our sport, in particular Children & Young People (CYP).

Our policies and procedures seek to specifically address risks to child safety and to establish child safe cultures and practices.

We promote equity, respect and inclusion by:

  • Understanding our members diverse circumstances and responding effectively to those with additional vulnerabilities, such as CYP,
  • Providing members access to information, support and reporting processes,
  • Empowering members by giving them a voice and encouraging them to speak up on decisions that affect them,
  • Creating a safe and positive environment for all members, but particularly CYP to be involved in.

The Bowls WA Board endorses our commitment to ensuring all of our members are safe from all forms of abuse and in the education of them in the workings of the National Integrity Framework (NIF).
