Under 18’s Bowls is an important part of the bowls scene in WA.
Under 18’s are welcomed at all clubs and club coaches will show them the basics and etiquette of the game. They are more than welcome to participate in all of the events and competitions run by clubs.
Bowls WA conducts State Under 18’s Championships each year around April and these are an important stepping stones for Under 18’s wanting to proceed further in the sport.
The State Under 18’s Selectors pick a State Squad from which a WA side is selected to play in the National Championships in October each year.
Bowls WA also runs a series of Under 18’s coaching sessions during the year which are open to all Under 18’s. Clubs also run specific events for Under 18’s.
