Umpires

The Umpires Committee is responsible for:

  • Conducting courses for the accreditation of new umpires twice a year in the northern and southern metropolitan areas
  • Re-accreditation courses twice yearly for existing umpires in the northern and southern metropolitan area. Umpires need to re-accredit every four years
  • Travel to Country Leagues to conduct seminars and assist League Representatives
  • Conduct Metropolitan Seminars when ever it is considered necessary
  • Attend meetings of the committee monthly
  • Keep contact with League Representatives through distribution of meeting minutes
  • Reply to all correspondence in regard to queries of the Laws of the Game
  • Inform bowlers through articles in the Jack Hi
  • Officiate at finals of all Bowls WA events including Country Week and Pennant Finals
  • Officiate at any Interstate and International events held within WA

NEW OFFICIALS – SELF-PACED LEARNING

These sessions are specifically for those that have done (or would like to do) the online self-paced learning modules and then attend to complete their accreditation.

RE-ACCREDITING OFFICIALS

These sessions are for existing officials that require updating their accreditation
Tuesday 24th September 2024 – 5.30pm START @ Thornlie
Wednesday 25th September 2024 – 5.30pm START @ Warwick
