
The Umpires Committee is responsible for:
- Conducting courses for the accreditation of new umpires twice a year in the northern and southern metropolitan areas
- Re-accreditation courses twice yearly for existing umpires in the northern and southern metropolitan area. Umpires need to re-accredit every four years
- Travel to Country Leagues to conduct seminars and assist League Representatives
- Conduct Metropolitan Seminars when ever it is considered necessary
- Attend meetings of the committee monthly
- Keep contact with League Representatives through distribution of meeting minutes
- Reply to all correspondence in regard to queries of the Laws of the Game
- Inform bowlers through articles in the Jack Hi
- Officiate at finals of all Bowls WA events including Country Week and Pennant Finals
- Officiate at any Interstate and International events held within WA
