All kids deserve a fair go.
Variety – the Children’s Charity supports Western Australian kids who are facing many challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with disability. Our work allows kids to gain mobility, to get out and about in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase their self-esteem.
We make sure the kids who miss out, can always join in.
We focus on meeting unmet need and provide support where no government or other assistance is available.
We help WA kids in four ways:
- Grants
We grant a range of items to provide practical help to kids or organisations in need. This includes anything from vehicle modifications and technical equipment to aids for social interaction and play.
- Scholarships
We give scholarships to support kids with an existing talent to reach their full potential in Sports, The Arts or Extracurricular Education.
- Programs
We run inclusive programs to educate and empower kids in need. Our programs are fun, supportive and give kids the opportunity to develop new skills and shine their brightest.
- Experiences
We run events and experiences to engage and bring joy to kids in need, such as the Variety Kids Xmas Party. These events allow kids and their families to make cherished memories, meet new people and particulate in new experiences.
