Women’s Veteran Day Results
The traditional Women’s Veteran’s Day event was held last Wednesday 7th October. Leeming (South) and Cambridge (North) were the host venues with over 30 participants at both making it a great day of bowls activities for those in attendance at what is the official opening of the Women’s bowls season. Vice Patron Beryl Brennan and Vice President Kerry Andersen were both in attendance to welcome bowlers and wish them well for the 2015/16 season.
Prize winners at both venues were as follows;
Leeming (winners pictured) Spider – Helen Worth (Leeming). Lucky Draw – Cilla Mandic (Rossmoyne), Coralie Conway (Cockburn), Merle Marlow (Cockburn) and Lorraine Turbett (Rossmoyne).
Cambridge Spider – E Green (Innaloo). Lucky Draw – Audrey Smith (Innaloo), Margaret Brooks (Nollamara), Margaret Robertson (Nollamara), Iris Wood (Innaloo).
