Women’s IZRR Pairs results
played February 20 & 21 The Women’s Inter Zone Round Robin Pairs was played over the weekend of Feburary 20th and 21st hosted by the Northern Zone at the Wonthella Bowling Club.
Heading into the last round of competition all four zones had recorded one win each and thus the title was well and truly up for grabs. In the end the Eastern Zone prevailed after a close 5 shot victory over the Northern Zone whilst the Southern Zone defeated the South West Zone by just 1 shot to show the closeness of the competition. Eastern Zone were awarded the championship as they had the higher rink wins and shots up.
Congratulations to Wonthella and the Northern Zone on running a great event and to the Eastern Zone ladies on a very good win.
