Three workshops in May for Bowling Clubs Do you wish you had more time, hands or heads to complete all the work needed at your club?
Bowls WA in conjunction with Volunteering WA and the Department of Sport and Recreation will be holding three workshops specifically designed to help your club recruit, manage and retain volunteers at your club.
The workshops are FREE to attend but limited to 15 clubs only (two representatives per club) so avoid missing out and confirm your attendance with Bowls WA Operations Manager Aaron Delaporte via email aaron@bowlswa.com.au
Volunteer Recruitment Workshop
South Perth Bowling Club Conference Room Monday May 23rd 6.30pm – 8.30pm
This workshop will help you:

Understand some of the motivations of volunteers
Understand the recruitment process and how to write and advertise volunteer positions
Identify the roles needed in your club and how to recruit for roles successfully

 
Developing Volunteer Management Plans
South Perth Bowling Club Conference Room Wednesday May 25th 6.30pm – 8.30pm
This workshop will help you:

Understand the volunteer lifecycle
Identify the existing systems and processes in place for volunteer management in your club
Create an appropriate approach for your club in managing volunteers

 
Volunteer Retention Workshop
South Perth Bowling Club Conference Room Monday May 30th 6.30pm – 8.30pm
This workshop will help you:

Identify your volunteers, their backgrounds and volunteering habits
Understand some of the motivations of volunteers and reasons they stay or leave
Develop your ability to personalise volunteer recognition and improve retention
