Good Sports Beating Heart Competition For the last 10 years the Good Sports program has been on an incredible journey, and the next 10 years are shaping up to be even more exciting. Good Sports are Australia’s largest health initiative in community sport and are glad to have many bowls clubs on board.

Good Sports have recently updated the brand to reflect the growth in the program and demonstrate our purpose; to enhance the sustainability and positive impact of sport to build strong communities.
Following on from the launch of the new look Good Sports brand and website, its exciting to announce a new initiative the Good Sports Beating Heart campaign.
The objective of the five week campaign is to raise awareness of the Good Sports brand and go beyond the club committee members. It’s to make the program part of community sport vocabulary.
The Beating Heart campaign shines the spotlight on the local heroes of community sport – the club volunteers that go above and beyond to keep the club running.
How does it work?

Club members nominate their club hero. They share this nomination with other members and rally the troops to vote.
Club members jump on the site to vote for their local hero.
A team at Good Sports HQ select the winners and tell some awesome stories.

Clubs can nominate multiple members to increase their chance. And the prizes are huge. On offer are five prizes of $3000 cash for their club and a $1000 travel voucher for the club hero
This really is a great competition for clubs to get behind.
Please throw your support behind the Beating Heart campaign. This is a great opportunity for your clubs to go into the draw to win some great prizes, as well as shine the spotlight on the club volunteers that work incredible hours for the love of their club.

Good Sports want to reward the dedication of that special club member, the one that serves as a true inspiration to the community.
Nominate or vote for your club’s Beating Heart to win $3000 for your club and $1000 for your deserving member.
Votes impact the final decision, so rally the squad and get them on board too. Clubs can access resources to spread the word through their newsletters or social channels through the Beating Heart website, located here: www.beatingheart.com.au/resources
Entries close 15 September, so enter today at: www.beatingheart.com.au
Good luck!
