Hot Gossies
Round in Review Week 7 A little rain may have dampened some of the greens during some of this week’s games but not our spirits while playing on them. As usual lets look at the week’s wrap up.
Men’s Saturday Competition
This week’s biggest aggregate win was by far the massive victory for Gosnells in 4th Division. Three of the four Gossies rinks won by more than 20 shots in the demolition. The biggest of these was David Lister’s 44-11 which was the biggest rink in 4th Division at 33 shots. The biggest rink win overall came from 6th Division where Hollywood-Subiaco skipper Colin Graves lead his side to mammoth 39 shot win. It was part of 6th Divisions biggest aggregate margin of 60 as team mate Ray Preston had a lazy 30 shot win on the other rink.

Women’s Tuesday Competition
Joondalup and Innaloo both feature twice on our list this week after two big aggregate wins each. Both clubs have also earnt one of the week’s competition highs with Innaloo claiming the week’s biggest aggregate and Joondalup the week’s largest rink margin. Innaloo’s 80 shot win in 3rd Division was the competition’s best winning margin for the week. Skipper Marie-Ann Michielesen’s 40 shot win was the driving force behind such a big win but both other rinks also recorded comfortable victories. It wasn’t quite enough to be the round’s biggest rink win as they were pipped by one shot by Joondalup’s Carol Curtis. The 2nd Division skipper lead her side to 45-4 win to set up Joondalup’s division best 69 shot aggregate victory.
