South Eastern win EZ Pairs
Eastern Country Zone Round Robin Pairs Results The Goldfields Ladies Bowling League hosted the Eastern Zone ILRR Pairs at the Boulder Bowling Club on the 25th & 26th November.
Both days were played in very warm conditions and there with four games ending in a draw which was an indication of the close competition between the leagues.
The South Eastern League were the winners with 10 points & 10.5 rink wins, second place were the Avon Valley League with 4 points & 8.5 rink wins and third place was the Goldfields League with 4 points & 8 rink wins.
The six pairs selected to represent the Eastern Zone at the Inter Zone Pairs in Wickepin in Feb were I Leahy & C Ace-Watson (Goldfields), K Bush & K Geier (South Eastern), S Smith & M Peck (Avon Valley), M Garn & L Yates (Central Wheatbelt), H Moylan & G Lane (East Avon & South Eastern) and J Parker & D Glass (Avon Valley).
