Winners crowned at Ravensthorpe
O D Transport Open Day The Annual O D Transport Mixed Fours Open Day was held at the Ravensthorpe Bowling Club on Saturday 20th January with 16 teams competing.
A very successful carnival produced the following results. Winning all their games and the day was a combined Esperance/Ravensthorpe team of Laurie Clare, Bill Gurney (Esperance) and Larry and Peggy Cox (Ravensthorpe). Runners up was a Hopetoun team of Lance Goddard, Janet Robb, Kevin Herbert & Terry Lord. Third place went to another another Hopetoun team of Des Barr, Steve McGlinn, Leonie McNamara & Alec Wood and fourth place was a combined Kalgoorlie/Hopetoun team of Pat & Phyllis Kennedy (Kalgoorlie) and Alan Corby & Frank Green (Hopetoun).
