Enhanced Bowls coverage this season
In a major announcement that is sure to please regular bowls followers in Western Australia, Bowls WA will enhance the live coverage of major bowls events in the coming 2018/19 season. Investment in more equipment and online software will mean Bowls WA will be able to live stream the finals of all major events this year through the Bowls WA Facebook page in a more professional manner which will include several camera angles and on screen scores during matches. The coverage is expected to be similar to that which was shown by Bowls Australia for the Australian Open and more recently the Tweed Heads Golden Nugget Prestige Singles.
The event live streaming coverage will be produced by Bowls WA Competition Manager Pieter Harris and Operations Manager Aaron Delaporte.
Already confirmed guest commentators for the live streaming will include well known players Clive Adams, John Slavich, Therese Hastings, Kristina Krstic, Cody Packer, Dave Rankin, Laura Merz, Hailey Adams, Simon Alden, Helen Stevens, Helen Morss, Shane Knott and Ashley Sharp. In addition Bowls WA CEO Ken Pride and President Kerry Andersen will join the coverage during the year.
