WA Multibowl Para-Bowlers Selected
Bowls WA are pleased to announce the para-bowlers selected to compete at the 2022 Multibowl. This event, for physical disability athletes, will be hosted by Bowls Australia for the first time in its 30+ year history. Players will gather at Mermaid Beach Bowls Club from September 30 to October 5 with the event to be run in tandem with the inaugural Bowls Australia Nationals at Broad Beach.
Each state and territory can enter a side of ten players, six men and four women, who compete in open gender triples and gender specific pairs and singles within an international classification system of B5/B6 and B7/B8 groupings.
WA is looking to improve their performance, after a two-year absence with 2020 and 2021 cancelled due to Covid travel restrictions, with the addition of five new players from:
- Pingelly – Michael Garrett & Clem Nottle
- Yanchep – Jodie Nikolic
- Kardinya – Diana Nixon
- Morley – David Stephen
These players will play alongside five of our established players from:
- Dowerin – Wayne Allsopp
- Thornlie – Eddie Gollan
- Scarborough – Steve Murray
- Mt Lawley – Lara Symons
- Eaton – Maud Taylor

Congratulations and good bowls to all selected!
