This forum focuses on Bowls clubs and how to build a positive club culture. It aims to affirm and assist with number of topics;
- It’s well known Bowls clubs is a great place for a drink, the forum will assist on how clubs can prevent and/or reduce alcohol related harms.
- Additionally it emphasises on how to role-model healthy behaviours for younger members and support mental health initiatives/reducing stigma.
- Lastly how to encourage a healthy, smoke-free environment and how to make sure everyone gets home safely
- And much more..
The Forum is Free, easily accessible online for a period of one hour, making it convenient for those involved in the running of clubs.
Clive Adams, Regional Bowls Manager for Bowls Australia will welcome club attendees to this event and provide an over view on Bowls related programs, club development initiatives and general support available for clubs as an introduction before the Good Sports begins.
