Bowls WA Staff Announcement
Many may be aware than Aaron Delaporte has taken up the position of Bowls Link Manager at Bowls Australia, a terrific opportunity in a very important role for the sport in Australia. Aaron’s final day with Bowls WA after 11+ years outstanding service will be Friday 31st March. Aaron’s progression in the Operations Manager’s role has been significant and taken the position to great heights in his time. His work with Club Development and particularly the introductions of initially Bowls Connect and in recent times Bowls Link has enabled WA to be a leader in the system’s introduction and take up by clubs. Fortunately Aaron won’t be lost to WA as he will work from Perth, with a hot desk in the Bowls WA office as required.
I am equally pleased to welcome Clive Adams, who will take up the role of Operations Manager for Bowls WA. Clive needs no introduction and will provide a seamless transition from Aaron – welcome to Clive who I know is looking forward to the role. Clive’s first day is at this stage Tuesday 11th April, immediately after Easter.
