Men’s Saturday Pennant Finals
Bowls WA has released the information for the Professionals Men’s Saturday Pennant Competition – Pennant Finals, Promotion Playoffs and Challenge Finals. This has been provided directly to participating clubs with the details also available below.
MEN’S SATURDAY PENNANT FINALS
- Premier League and 1st Division Grand Finals to be played Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April 2023
- 2nd Division to 4th Division to play Saturday 1st April 2023 Only
- 5th Division to be played Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April 2023 due to 5 colours.
- Clubs taking part in the AM game are to report to the venue by 9.00am for a 9.30am start.
- Visiting Clubs should contact the Venue to enquire if lunch options are available or alternately Home Clubs should let visiting club know of any lunch options that will be available.
- The PM game start is scheduled at 1.30pm but adjustments may be made between the two competing clubs on the day.
- It is the host club’s responsibility to provide Umpires for all Pennant Finals at the venue all day. If opposition clubs have available umpires within their team, they should notify the Umpire of the Day they have umpires willing to help.
- Bowls Link will be open for clubs to input teams after Midday on Thursday 30th March.
- Clubs named 1st in each fixture is responsible to input results even if not playing at Home.
- If any club has difficulty inputting results after their AM or PM fixture, please take a clear photo of the Pennant Result sheet and send to 0427 709 933 before 6.30pm on the day of play.
Men’s Saturday Pennant Finals Schedule
MEN’S SATURDAY PROMOTION PLAYOFFS
- All Promotion Finals to be played Saturday 1st April 2023 Only
- All 3rd Division and 4th Division Colour Promotion Finals are a PM fixtures only.
- Due to five colours in 5th Division, promotion finals are AM and PM. 2nd and 3rd in each colour play promotion finals to determine the final 3 promotion positions.
- 6th Division do not play Promotion Playoffs.
- It is the host club’s responsibility to provide Umpires for all Pennant Finals at the venue (3rd – 4th Division).
- Bowls Link will be open for clubs to input sides after Midday on Thursday 30th March.
5th Division Only Information - Due to cross colour fixtures, 5th Division will be played at a neutral venue.
- Each competing Club has been given a random number in the draw. Due to number 1 and 2 having first round Byes, clubs that finished in second position on their colour ladder were guaranteed drawing one of those numbers.
- All competing 5th Division Clubs are required to provide an umpire while competing either nonplaying or playing as this is not the responsibility of the neutral venue.
- Rolls will be available for purchase at Doubleview for winning Sides in the AM round.

MEN’S SATURDAY CHALLENGE PLAYOFFS
- All Challenge Finals to be played Saturday 1st April 2023 Only
- Clubs taking part in the AM game are to report to the venue by 9.00am for a 9.30am start.
- The PM game start is scheduled for 1.30pm but adjustments can be made between the two competing clubs on the day.
- Competing Clubs NEED TO provide an umpire each either nonplaying or playing.
- Venues will NOT be providing lunches unless competing clubs are specifically informed.
- Bowls Link will be open for clubs to input teams after Midday on Thursday 30th March.
- Clubs named first in each fixture are responsible for inputting results.
- If any club has difficulty inputting results after their AM or PM fixture, please take a clear photo of the Pennant Result sheet and send to 0427 709 933 before 6.30pm on the day of play
