UMPIRES – Online Country Forum
For umpires and interested players:
The WA State Umpires Committee will be conducting an online forum via Zoom for umpires and interested players in the Country areas of WA. The forum will include a quick review of basic measuring and marking skills. Laws, current policies and Domestic Regulations will also be discussed.
This forum will be conducted on Wednesday 21st February commencing at 6:30pm
and will be limited to 15 applicants.
Numbers will determine whether we hold further forums for those who can’t attend on the above date.
Participation in the forum will require registration with Bowls WA prior to the date. Please contact Clare Sopp at clare@bowlswa.com.au . A link to attend the Zoom meeting will then be sent to those who register.
We ask that those attending the Zoom meeting submit questions relating to laws, policies, or Domestic Regulations and these will be addressed during the evening. Your anonymity will be respected.
We have successfully used Zoom to extend knowledge and interpretation of laws to country bowlers before. Whilst we conduct forums in the Metro area, we can now do the same for our country bowlers using Zoom. All attendees remain in the comfort of their own homes.
