BCIB take over Country Week
Long time supporter of bowls in Australia, BCiB have agreed to sponsor Western Australia’s largest event, Country Week for 2019.
As the largest insurer of bowling clubs in Australia, BCiBs commitment to the sport has been unrivalled over the past 20 years. In WA, BCiB has been the naming rights sponsor of the Metropolitan Pennant Competition for almost a decade, in addition to providing specific support to a number of clubs around the State.
The move to support both Men’s and Ladies Country Week in 2019 continues an ever strengthening partnership with WA bowls; however support does need to be provided both ways.
Bowls WA CEO, Ken Pride noted the importance of supporting sponsors who are willing to support our game. “Good sponsors are extremely difficult to find and without the commercial support of clubs and their members, companies will quickly find other avenues to promote their product.”
He added, “there is no valid reason why a company like BCiB cannot be asked to at least quote for a club’s insurance needs. Without sponsor support events will quickly die.”
