Help shape the future of Bowls

by Aaron Delaporte on November 27, 2020

Bowls WA is seeking expressions of interest for members of the bowling community to join the Innovations Committee, formerly Bowls 2025 Committee which is responsible for reviewing the way Bowls is played in WA. This Committee can make recommendations to the Bowls Management Committee with the key guiding principle being the sustainability of the sport at both Club and Association level.

Bowls WA Board member Marc Abonnel will chair this committee and is seeking up to five other members who will meet approximately once a month, either in person or via Zoom on a Thursday morning. It is expected these five members will cover diversity within bowls including age, gender and playing ability to have representatives across all areas of the sport.

Further details on the role of the Innovations Committee are available here Innovations Committee – Terms of Reference

Those interested should contact Bowls WA via email to aaron@bowlswa.com.au with a short reason as to why they would like to join.

The closing date for expressions of interest is Monday December 7th 2020.
