Gotta Love the Bowlo Campaign continues

Bowls WA will once again re-launch the Gotta Love the Bowlo campaign commencing November 22nd running through to February 13th (with a short break for the Xmas holidays) covering the peak period for Bowls Clubs in Western Australia. The campaign which is designed to attract new members to bowling clubs whether they be social members, social players or competitive bowlers will again feature Bowls Ambassador Brad Hogg but will also incorporate a digital presence which will be a first for the campaign now in its fourth year.

The Gotta Love the Bowlo message is simple – every club in WA has something about it that their members love. Your local Bowlo is so much more than just bowls – it’s a hub for community entertainment. Whether it’s a cheap drink, an appetising meal, a friendly roll or a planned get together – your local Bowlo has it covered. The message is for people to come down to their local bowlo and find out what’s there for them.

Brad Hogg will feature in the radio advertisement which will be syndicated via Bowls Australia’s media partner SEN and delivered across their affiliate network which includes Triple M (including country WA) and 6PR Sportsday WA (Karl Langdon & Paul Haselby) along with the SEN stations SEN WA, SEN Spirit Southwest 621 and SEN Peel DAB+.

You can listen to the Brad Hogg Gotta Love the Bowlo radio advertisement on Soundcloud.

As part of the campaign two Local Legend interviews will also be conducted by Tim Gossage as part of his Sporting Goss show across the SEN stations. These interviews will feature someone from our sport who has done something significant whether it be a volunteer, official or player – most importantly they will showcase the passion that our participants have for the sport.

The digital advertising will feature on SEN.COM.AU / SEN App / SEN Social Media and will hit 150,000 impressions across the campaign. Bowls WA also encourages clubs to use the digital images on their social media platforms to help spread the message. The images which are in GIF format have been designed to capture people’s attention whilst showcasing several aspects of the sport.

The images once clicked will take the interested person through to the Bowls WA Website Gotta Love the Bowlo page which has been revamped and designed to provide a quick explanation of what WA clubs have to offer, plus encourage people to find their local club by using the built in Club Finder. Club officials are encouraged to check their details are up to date and be prepared for any visitors that may come through their doors via this campaign.
