Metropolitan Pennants Open Gender Discussion Paper
The following has been sent to the Executives for comment regarding Open Gender Metropolitan Pennant for season 2024/2025. Individuals who would like to make comment should do so through their Club Executive;
“Club Executives,
Following on from the July 2023 Presidents’ Forum, attached is a detailed paper on the opportunities to transition or otherwise to Open Gender pennant.
The issues that need to be considered have been spelt out for the Ladies Tuesday, Men’s Thursday and Ladies Saturday competitions with the Men’s Saturday competition transitioning to fully Open Gender in 2024/2025.
We ask that you carefully consider this document, through whatever process your club takes in making important long-term decisions. As stated following the closing date, we will collate the responses and bring the results back to you in a further Forum in early/mid May.
We look forward to your response and confirm that any decisions made will be in the longer term interests of the sport.
