Vale Neville Faulkner

by Aaron Delaporte on November 13, 2019

Bowls WA and the wider Bowls Community are mourning the passing of Neville Faulkner.

Neville was a long time supporter of Bowls in Western Australian widely known as the Sunday Times bowls reporter for over 20 years covering our great game.

A very good bowler himself he was a regular in top grade for many years and won the Royal Park Masters Singles and Doubleview Master Pairs along with many club titles. He played for Manning, Victoria Park, City Beach, Gosnells and more recently at Halls Head. Neville’s son Gavin Faulkner inherited his fathers love of the game and is also a high profile bowler having been part of the WA State Squad on several occasions.

Our thoughts are with Gavin and the Faulkner family following the passing of their much loved father Neville who will be sorely missed within the bowls fraternity.

Per Neville’s wishes there will be no funeral, however the family invite his friends and fellow bowlers to join them in celebrating his life at Halls Head Bowling Club next Wednesday 20th November from 2-5pm.
