Abe too strong in Women’s Over 60’s Singles
The queen of Corrigin Noelene Abe was at her best in taking another title albeit her first in the Women’s Over 60’s Singles event. Played at Belmont City Bowling Club Abe showed all her skill to defeat former winner Rinske Butcher from North Beach 21-6 in the final.
Abe faced a tough test in her semi final but proved too good in the end for Therese Hastings winning 21-16 whilst Butcher played a great game to defeat Kathy Gobbart also a former winner 21-17. Both semi finals were great games.
